MILAN – “You always celebrate derby victories. We have won both of them and it’s enormously satisfying for us,” stated a jubilant Hernan Crespo after Inter’s 2-1 win over AC Milan. “It has been a very hard week for us, so this derby win has come at the right time. The team showed great character and deserved to win.

“In the dressing room before the game we said it will be a special championship for the Nerazzurri fans because we have won both derbies and because Juventus are in Serie B.

“Can we start celebrating the Scudetto? Let’s wait until the mathematics proves us right, but we’re close to the finishing post and today we’re only celebrating the derby victory.

Asked if he was disappointed about his substitution, the Argentine replied: “You’re obviously never pleased when you’re substituted, but I’m very happy because Cruz deserved to play a great game and he won us this derby.”

Hi there! This is a poll for those who speak Spanish, so…

Hola a todos! Debido a que me he enterado de que muchas de las personas que visitan el site son de habla hispana, he decidido hacer esta encuesta, con el fin de que me digan si quieren que las noticias que se publican sean traducidas al español de aquí en adelante.
Debo aclarar, de que si bien este site es Argentino, escribo en inglés ya que día a día son más las personas que conocen a Hernán Crespo alrededor del mundo… hasta en Turquía!! aunque no lo crean… y con la finalidad de llegar a esas personas es que está todo en inglés xDDDD jajaja!
Obviamente que ahora con el estudio tendré muchisisisimo menos tiempo para actualizar, pero daré lo mejor de mí, y sé que también se me hará más difícil teniendo que -en caso de que haya una respuesta positiva en la votación- traducir las noticias… pero todo sea por el site! xDDD

Verona – Hernan Crespo hit his eleventh goal of the season in Sunday’s win against Chievo to become Inter’s top scorer in 2006/07. “I’m pleased with the goal I scored,” he told Inter Channel after the Bentegodi clash. “The Chievo keeper made a great save to deny me a goal in the first half; maybe he helped me a bit for the second goal. Today’s goal was a bit like Ibra’s against Palermo, these balls that bounce can take the goalkeeper by surprise.”

The Argentine added: “On the whole, I’m pleased with the team’s performance in a game which wasn’t easy. The playing surface didn’t make it possible to move the ball around quickly or keep our balance. And it’s not easy to start playing again after a week’s break. We did well, let’s continue like this.”

Chievo 0 – 2 Inter

Verona – There were no signs of an Inter let-up as the Serie A championship resumed following the violence which brought Italian football to a standstill.

Adriano and Crespo, partnered up front in a starting lineup for the third time this season, scored in each half in Verona to keep the league leaders 11 points clear of Roma.

The 2-0 victory sees Inter equal the European record of 15 consecutive top-flight victories set by Real Madrid in 1960/61 and Bayern Munich between 2004/05 and 2005/06.
